Meet Dunja!

Our warm, caring Lead Educator is an OCT certified teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience in the public education system in Peel.

Over the years, she has worked with many students with special education needs, including students with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, and low vision.

She has seen, again and again, that every single child wants to learn.

Sometimes, things get in the way.

Dunja is committed to helping children eliminate or overcome the barriers to learning that they carry with them. 

Her goal is to work with each child only as long as necessary for the child to:

* become well acquainted with their own learning profile,

* learn and practice enough skills to be able to navigate their regular school environment effectively, and

* learn self-advocacy skills to get their needs met within their classroom environment.
